The Bavarian-Indian Centre for Business and University Cooperation (BayIND) is an institution of the Bavarian State Ministry of Science and the Arts. The centre represents more than 30 Bavarian state universities. From our locations in Hof (Germany) and Bengaluru (India), we advise students on study and research opportunities in Bavaria. Bavarian universities enjoy an excellent reputation both in Germany and worldwide and offer students an excellent learning environment. Science, research and the arts have always been highly valued in Bavaria and have a long tradition. Bavaria has one of the strongest economies in Europe, an excellent infrastructure and a wide range of leisure opportunities. A degree from a Bavarian university and the proximity to industry offer students promising career prospects.
Our goal is to promote Bavaria as a place to study in India and to inform Indian students about studying, living and working in Bavaria. We support Indian students in deciding to study in Bavaria and in applying to Bavarian universities without involving an agency.
