New impetus for Indian-Bavarian scientific cooperation

Through strategic dialogue and innovation, a new phase of Indo-Bavarian cooperation is beginning to advance common goals in science, technology and education.

In a rapidly changing world, global partnerships are more important than ever. The Chairman of our Board of Directors (Prof. Dr Dr hc Jürgen Lehmann) and our colleagues took advantage of the exchange with the Bavarian delegation led by Dr Florian Herrmann, Head of the Bavarian State Chancellery and Minister of State for Federal and European Affairs and Media. They discussed the future of cooperation with the State of Karnataka as part of the Bavarian High-Tech Agenda, which concluded the Bavarian delegation's visit to India.

We look forward to deepening this partnership through new scholarship opportunities announced by Minister-President Dr Markus Söder during the visit, following insightful discussions with the Indian Minister of Science and Technology, Dr Jitendra Singh. The talks highlighted the potential for Indo-Bavarian cooperation in science, technology and innovation (STI), particularly in priority areas such as artificial intelligence, quantum technology and aerospace.
