BayIND visit to Chennai

The BayIND Science Office collaborated with various institutions in Chennai to inform students about study opportunities in Bavaria. The Chennai Institute of Technology, Saveetha University and Veltech University, along with the Goethe Institute Chennai, were part of the "Study in Bavaria" information session series.

The primary objective of the visit was to promote Bavaria as a destination for higher education and to provide Indian students with information about studying, living and working in Bavaria, Germany. The sessions highlighted the opportunities available at Bavarian universities and the benefits of pursuing an education in a region known for its academic standards, economy and academic-industry links.

The information sessions were enthusiastically attended by over 200 students from all institutions. Their curiosity and interest in higher education opportunities in Germany was evident through active discussions and questions during the sessions.

An essential aspect of the sessions was to guide students in navigating the application process independently, without relying on third parties. This approach aims to provide students with accurate information and direct access to Bavarian institutions.
