BayIND Conducts Pre-Departure Session at RUAS for Upcoming Student Excursion to Bavaria

As part of its ongoing commitment to fostering academic and cultural exchange between India and Bavaria, the Bavarian-Indian Centre for University and Business Cooperation (BayIND) recently conducted a pre-departure orientation session at Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences (RUAS), Bangalore. The session was organized for students from the Faculty of Management and Commerce (FMC) ahead of a student excursion to Bavaria scheduled for this month.

As part of its cooperation with Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences (RUAS) in Bangalore, the Bavarian-Indian Centre for Business and University Cooperation (BayIND) recently conducted a preparatory seminar at RUAS. The event was aimed at students from the Faculty of Management and Commerce (FMC) and took place in advance of a study trip to Bavaria.

The seminar prepared students for their stay abroad by introducing key aspects of everyday life, culture, and the academic environment in Germany. Core topics included social norms, regional diversity, communication styles, and differences between the Indian and German education systems.

In addition, participants received practical guidance on travel preparation, using public transportation, and tips for intercultural communication. In return for RUAS's visit to Bavaria, BayIND will visit the university in Bangalore in August 2025 with a group of Bavarian students.
