Call for Applications: International Summer School at University of Bayreuth

The University of Bayreuth is hosting an International Summer School which is covering various courses in the English language in different fields of studies. The Application period ends on the 30th April 2019.

The courses of the International Summer School of the University of Bayreuth are conducted in the English language by international visiting professors. The Summer School will take place from 30th of June until 13th of July. Participants have the opportunity to theoretically and practically engage in various seminars and discussions for around 6 hours a day, learning and working in small groups of max. 15-20 international participants!

Courses are offered in the following fields of study:

Course 1: Economics and Management

Course 2: African Studies

Course 3: Public Health and Global Change

Course 4: Public Health and Life Sciences

Course 5: Energy and Climate

Course 6: Polymer Science and Biofabrication

Course 7: Polymer Science and Engineering

Course 8: Law: Human Rights and Corporate Social Responsibility


The course fee includes tuition fees, an excursion to Berlin and meals (daily lunch and a welcome & farewell dinner). Students from partner universities may qualify for reduced tuition fees or a tuition fee waiver.

Early bird rate: € 850 (until 28th of February 2019)

Regular rate: € 950

The Bavarian-Indian Centre for Business and University Cooperation (BayIND) has been set-up in order to coordinate and promote the university cooperation between Bavaria and India. It was founded in 2008 and is supported by the Bavarian State Ministry of Science and the Arts. The centre aims to intensive academic relation between India and Bavaria and supports the economy in its cooperation's with India. In addition, the centre has also been designed as a central service institution for companies (SMEs). The BayIND is located at Hof University of Applied Sciences and has its representative in Bangalore/ India.
