Call for Applications: Falling Walls Lab India

By sending in a research project, business plan or social initiative young professionals can win a trip to Berlin to participate in the Falling Walls Lab Finale and much more. Apply until 15th January 2019!

The Falling Walls Lab India provides innovative young minds with the opportunity to present their research project, business plan, entrepreneurial or social initiative to a jury at Manipal Academy of Higher Education. The winner will compete with 100 international Falling Walls Lab winners in Berlin on 8th November 2019. In addition, the winner will receive a ticket to the prestigious Falling Walls Conference in Berlin where leaders from science, industry and policy-making meet.

The Falling Walls Lab India takes place on 30th March 2019 in Manipal and is hosted by the German Centre for Research and Innovation (DWIH), the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and the Manipal Academy of Higher Education.

The Bavarian-Indian Centre for Business and University Cooperation (BayIND) has been set-up in order to coordinate and promote the university cooperation between Bavaria and India. It was founded in 2008 and is supported by the Bavarian State Ministry of Science and the Arts. The centre aims to intensive academic relation between India and Bavaria and supports the economy in its cooperation's with India. In addition, the centre has also been designed as a central service institution for companies (SMEs). The BayIND is located at Hof University of Applied Sciences and runs a liaison office in Bangalore/ India.
