Another important milestone of the pharmIn2 project has been achieved.

Sixty students from JNTUH and SSN Chennai have successfully completed an online training program under the pharmIn2 project.

Sixty students from two prominent Indian universities, Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH) and Sri Sivasubramaniya Nadar (SSN) College of Engineering in Chennai, successfully participated in the online learning and training platform developed as part of the pharmIn2 project with the LXT software. The platfrom provides information on the background and objective of the project pharmIn2, the chemistry behind the technology as well as rules and regulations related to wastewater discharge in India. The platform also includes technical chapters focused on industries, which provide detailed information on the technology, the equipment involved and its special features.

The training sessions for the students were conducted in person during the visit of BayIND and Hof University representatives to India, as well as via Zoom. The participants were mainly from the Department of Environmental Science and Technology. Upon successful completion, they received certificates of participation from inwa, the Research Institute for Sustainable Water Systems at Hof University. Their feedback and suggestions will be used for further modifications of the platform. In the next phase, the platform will be used to provide training to interested industries and to the customers of the technology.
