2. BayIND Alumni Meetup in Bayreuth from 24.-26.11.2023

Exciting workshops on the topic of "Discover your values & personal brand" await you - great networking and lots of fun included!

It's that time again!!!

From 24th to 26th of November our annual BayIND Alumni Meetup will take place in beautiful Bayreuth! :-)

We are very happy to offer you an exciting, entertaining and interactive programme.

Friday, 24.11.2023:

  • We will start with a visit to the University of Bayreuth - Dr. Mahima Goel from the chair "Applied Functional Polymers" will give us an insight into the topics of the future - projects on electromobility, solar cells and thermoelectrics play an important role in her research work. She will also tell us about the projects with Bengaluru and also give us unique insights into the research labs. 
  • We will check in at the modern youth hostel in Bayreuth and of course you will have the opportunity toget to know each other and networkduring dinner.

Saturday, 25.11.2023: "Discover your values & personal brand"

  • Together with the two founders of "Jobtrüffel", an innovative job portal, we will discover our values during an interactive workshop. We will also talk about the values of potential employers and find out which differences and similarities there are in the Indo-Bavarian context.
  • In the afternoon, BayIND Alumna Sofie Flurschütz ("People Branding Company") will give us insights into how we can best position ourselves on LinkedIn and work out our "personal brand". Three BayIND Alumni will get the opportunity to have Sofie perform a personal "LinkedIn check" in advance, which we will then analyse during the workshop. 
  • After so much input, we will also end this day with a nice dinner and good conversations.

Sunday, 26.11.2023:

  • We will explore the Bayreuth catacombs and learn about the brewery and cultural history of the city of Bayreuth. If you like, you can then round off the weekend with a relaxed lunch with us.

The registration deadline is 21.9.2023. We will then let you know whether you have secured one of the 40 spots. 

To make the registration more binding, we will charge a registration fee of 25€ this year. You will receive more information about the payment by email after the registration deadline. 

All other costs for the event will be covered by BayIND, excluding drinks at dinner and lunch (food & drinks) on Sunday.

Should you not be able to participate at short notice without a valid reason, you will have to pay the costs for the youth hostel yourself (unless the place can be filled from the waiting list).
