Online Seminar: PhD in Bavaria
The free state of Bavaria is one of the 16 federal states of Germany and is located in the heart of Europe. It is home to some of the world’s top-class research institutes that conduct applied and innovative fundamental research. For example, the headquarters of two major German research institutions, the Max-Planck Association and the Fraunhofer Association are located in Munich. The 33 public universities in Bavaria offer exceptionally high-quality teaching, research and enjoy an excellent international reputation. In addition, the Bavarian industry is innovative and strongly involved in research, thereby offering many opportunities to highly skilled international graduates.
The online seminar on PhD in Bavaria is organised by the Bavarian-Indian Centre for Business and University Cooperation (BayIND) in partnership with the Graduate School, University of Würzburg and the ’Research in Bavaria’ initiative.
In the seminar, we will introduce to you the different ways of pursuing a PhD in Bavaria. You will learn how and where to find PhD vacancies and have the chance to ask questions and clarify your doubts with our experts.
